The Quiet Ones is a combination of feelings. First, it's the silence in me. The parts of me that seek peace ... and songs that reflect that. Second, it's acoustic music. No drums, no synthesizers. These songs are literally ... the quiet ones.

Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, it's a nod to the adage, "it's the quiet ones you have to watch out for." I know I come across chatty, but that's my defense mechanism at work. Most of my life, I was a really quiet, reserved person. I still am, in my heart.

But that doesn't mean I can be pushed around.
